Dry, cold and clear to start with a min temp of -4.9C. It stayed pretty sunny until the afternoon when a few light rain/sleet showers passed through. There was quite a significant thaw as the temperature briefly reached 3.7C, the warmest for a week.

I remember that happening several years when I used to ski out of Wengen in the Jungfrau region of Switzerland, could be quite painful
