Winter thunder: 3rd January 1841

Unsure the cause of this, a squall line perhaps but thunder widely occurred over parts of England and Wales on the 3rd January 1841. The 850hpa wetterzentrale chart must be be estimate because the CET mean for that day was 0.0°C and it doesn't look a 0.0°C chart
