Moderate showery rain last night. The early hours saw further heavy rain which turned to sleet later. The sleet turned light and cleared around dawn. Cloud breaking after dawn, so a bright start with sunny spells. Further sunny spells through the day, also a few wintry showers of soft hail and rain.

Yesterday's snow showers cleared by 2030 and the rest of the night was dry and clear. A clear start around sunrise but valley fog quickly lifted into low St and hill fog by 0730. The fog cleared around 0930 and it's now dry, chilly and cloudy.

Some sleet and snow showers late Tuesday leaving a keen frost overnight and an icy start.Cold and dry with some sunny spells,max 5 deg ,min -4 deg.
