Variable cloud overnight, some light showery rain. Mainly cloudy with light to moderate showery rain through the morning. The first part of the afternoon saw further moderate showers.

Mainly clear overnight and turning chilly for May. Sunny start this morning, cloud increased towards mid morning with just bright spells. Heavy showers late morning, these continuing through the afternoon with a few rumbles of thunder. The showers cleared by early evening.

A dry afternoon with sunny spells as the sheffield shield sprung into life. At one time the radar was a perfect square. One shower is trying to get into sheffield but is being shreeded by the shield as I type

A cloudy morning with heavy showers. The showers became light and much more scattered by early afternoon and eventually cleared completely after 1530 g.m.t to leave a sunny end to the day.

Cloud from the north sea burnt off after midday although cloud is still visable to the north east so it hasn't gone far. A rather warm sunny afternoon
