Does anyone remember this month? I remember it being dull and cold for quite a number of days. I don’t think there were any warm or hot spells, and we had to wait until the last weekend before the heat arrived.

Think we had storms during the first week of July.

An appallingly bad month, just about devoid of any fine weather, IIRC.

If I remember right it started with a cold, cloudy and dry northerly then the high toppled and let the Atlantic in.

I believe there was just one day with fine and reasonably warm weather, Saturday 29th - though possible that I've forgotten others.

Worse than June 1985 or 1987, though not as wet as June 2016.

Thankfully a backloaded summer: July was frequently fine and warm (though with some short but intense wet spells) and August was very dry and sunny.
