A cloudy cold day so far however there was just one brief glimpse of the sun a few minutes. So we may see a bit more of the sun in the evening

The North Sea cloud moved in again by midnight after a clear start to the night. Cloudy until around 0740 g.m.t when the cloud broke up and rapidly dispersed to leave it clear and sunny by 0745. Clear and sunny since then.

Cloud came in from the east again by midnight and lasted for the rest of the night, eventually breaking and dispersing between 0630 and 0730 g.m.t. Since then it's been mainly sunny.
