Clear spells forming overnight. Cloud increased before dawn. Overcast with a few spots of rain this morning, turning brighter with sunny spells just before mid morning. Further sunny spells through the morning, turning more cloudy again around noon. Cloudy for most of the afternoon, the early evening saw more cloud break allowing bright and sunny spells.

A sunny start to the day but it quickly clouded over from 0930 g.m.t as Cu spread into a sheet of Sc. A few spots of showery rain during the early afternoon followed by sunny intervals alternating with cloudy spells.

I've missed the storms so far and any rain, some great cloud scenes, Ac Cas, Flo, Ci Cas also, lots of towering Cu and what I suspect are CB's but tops obscured by carious other clouds; T=25.6 Td=16 C

 

Well the rain has arrived large drops out of Mamma cloud, presumably Cb, not heard (but deaf) any thunder or seen any flashes over the past 2 hours as the main cloud band has been just west of here. Looking at the lightning indicator on Net Wx , on my post code the nearest are somewhat SW of here. Davis says 0.2 mm but with puddles around it seems under done!

A surprisingly fresh start with sunny spells some distant storms. Just after mid morning saw a  brief few spots of rain and jump in humidity plus distant thunder. Sun soon cam eback out but now gone again with a  strenghening breeze.It has turned quite frsh again.
