Surprised one of the biggest weather forums has no thread for end of month summaries, so I made one for all the summaries of the month.

Anyway this is the data for SE Sheffield, June 2023

Comments: East winds and cool first 9 days. 10th-25th milder than average with a few warm days and the odd convection. Cool and showery end.

Warmest June on record for Coventry, with a mean of 17.5C though no days officially reached 30C, max was 29.7C on the 11th before 27.6mm of rain.

5th sunniest since record began in the 1890s. 241 hours recorded at the Bablake station, 33 hours less than the record set in June 1957.

Some local variations in the rainfall, my station about a mile east of bablake received 64mm while Bablake itself 67.2mm. On the 22th June some areas in the southern area of the city got 13mm, Bablake 7.4mm but here only 0.2mm due to a slow moving erratic downpour. 3 days of thunder were observed.
