Hot off the back of life threatening flash flooding across Vermont we've got a super moist flow pumping through the Northeastern states which is highest upper percentile for this to occur at this point of July. First particularly concerning focal point I'm looking at is Hartford Connecticut looks like that will be a severely impacted area

'Meanwhile, a highly anomalous moisture plume with PWATs exceeding 2 inches, or up to 3 sigma above normal, will advect northward into New England ahead of this front. Ample moisture and forcing will set the stage for widespread moderate rain, with embedded heavier convective elements likely.
