Showery for now but another burst of summer warmth is on the way

With low pressure to the west of Scotland, the weather stays showery for the time being. But, into midweek, with high-pressure building, sunny and increasingly warm conditions will prevail. With heat and humidity rising, though, thunderstorms may be likely by the end of the week and into the weekend.
