Hi I took pictures yesterday of some very strange light shafts running 1 o'clock to 6 o'clock even though the sun was behind us and sun shafts were angled 11 o'clock to 5 o'clock.

Then a dark line appeared to my right  in the picture. Any thoughts? Screenshot_20230922_190624_Gallery.thumb.jpg.dc3330045c6c260823dc13043f4a175e.jpgScreenshot_20230922_190624_Gallery.thumb.jpg.dc3330045c6c260823dc13043f4a175e.jpg

Is that a funnel cloud....Or as you say that goes all the way to the horizon...unlike what I saw..

I saw a funnel cloud recently lasted 25 mins very exciting a week before the last thunder lightning display..

Looks like a Florida type water spout, so l expect it's a land spout, spin up that occur more due to ground/water conditions, rather than supercell type tornadoes. It looks like it's touching the ground to me from that pic. If not then it's a very low funnel cloud, and those clouds might be in a convergence, that can cause some rotation.

Looks like a tornado roping out! Can’t really say what I think, apart from a funnel , but weren’t any storms yesterday . The last photo looked like a beam of light , Crepuscular ray? 🤔

On closer inspection, it does look like a funnel , it does have a dark cloud base , 🤔

Theres no shower with those clouds...

I know, that's why land spout, is the most logical, you can even get them with no cloud.

Although if you look at the cloud structure it does appear to have a rotational look about it…

Then it'll be a convergence zone spin up, which I also mentioned. But it looks on the ground to me, so a convergence zone tornado.
