An exceptionally warm year overall with a C.E.T of 10.5C. Standard practice now but remarkable for the time. It wouldn't be matched until 1921 and bettered until 1949. Many warm years of this time usually had one or two cold months but only April was marginally below average. You can easily imagine this pattern not being out of place if it were to occur in 2025.

7.1 - 5.6 - 7.1 - 7.7 - 13.0  - 15.4  - 16.9  - 16.2 - 13.8  - 10.6  - 6.7 - 5.6 / 10.5

Compare that to 5 years earlier when 1829 had a positively chilly annual C.E.T. of 8.2C. That one less likely to repeat in 2025 I imagine!
