    Starting to stick to most surfaces in Bridgend Frequent showers, some very heavy

    Sleet showers now turned fully into snow showers in Bridgend, South east Wales. Just 2 miles from the sea, close to sea level - there is hope for the low coastal areas! Temps going crazy, was 4.9c 5 mins ago + now 2.2c and dropping every min.

    Swansea, Wales Temp : 6c Wind : 10mph Cool and clear at present after a day of rain. Never seen anything like it, theres extensive flooding right across wales - took a train earlier to Whitland nr Carmarthen and a river had burst onto the tracks, nearly deralied us! Christ help some people during high tide.

    Bridgend, South Wales. 1:45am Quite a scary thunderstorm in progress here at the moment, very close and very loud. Lightning is forked type and shooting right across the sky. Car alarms sounding and pets howling

    Here in Swansea theres a huge thunderstorm starting with flashes every few seconds, no thunder yet so god help us when the storm gets over us. Looking at the radar all the thunderstorms have merged into one huge one and is heading over South Wales and West.

    Bridgend, South Wales. Its coming down heavily, like a blizzard, sticking now and turning white. Gritters are out on the roads. Reports of 10cm in the bridgend hills. Definately already the most snow weve had for years

    Snowing strongly here in Bridgend, South Wales. Very strange, very unexpected. We are basically at sea level and 2 miles from the coast, and never usally see snow even when most of the country is white. Its not sticking yet, but its getting heavier.
