Sleet showers now turned fully into snow showers in Bridgend, South east Wales. Just 2 miles from the sea, close to sea level - there is hope for the low coastal areas! Temps going crazy, was 4.9c 5 mins ago + now 2.2c and dropping every min.
Swansea, Wales Temp : 6c Wind : 10mph Cool and clear at present after a day of rain. Never seen anything like it, theres extensive flooding right across wales - took a train earlier to Whitland nr Carmarthen and a river had burst onto the tracks, nearly deralied us! Christ help some people during high tide.

Here in Swansea theres a huge thunderstorm starting with flashes every few seconds, no thunder yet so god help us when the storm gets over us. Looking at the radar all the thunderstorms have merged into one huge one and is heading over South Wales and West.

Snowing strongly here in Bridgend, South Wales. Very strange, very unexpected. We are basically at sea level and 2 miles from the coast, and never usally see snow even when most of the country is white. Its not sticking yet, but its getting heavier.
