  1. don't know if the link will work but here's someones video of the Hinckley hail
  2. Pretty sure I can see the anvil from my location to my north west
  3. Looks awesome on radar and on the brum cam. You guys better be getting some footage of this beast Hopefully will get up to about 27 degrees here today, will make up for no storms. Although the bbc graphics for my area show intense cells on their website
  4. If only I could drive and chase tomorrow, it'd be so easy to get on the A1 and drive north towards Lincolnshire or even towards Cambridge.
  5. Some cracking altocumulus floccus showing at the moment, if I have identified it correctly!
  6. Nice bit of light rain, this year is just going downhill It's worse knowing I'm in the East which has had a better year than the West! I just hope July/August will be good. Sorry about the negativity, well done to those who've seen something today and for those who will, enjoy!
  7. Today has a june 28th 2011 feel to it. The day started over cast and then storms broke out over south east england although there was a cold front unlike today. Feels humid though and there are plenty of showers about that could burst into action!
  8. Don't post on here much but I'm always reading, just going to say I can't really see much happening round my parts but some people in the south west will probably see something. Tomorrow looks quite good as long as the sun gets out, I might be a bit too far south though! Midlands, East Anglia areas look best to me. Thought this year was going to be a good one for plumes after the event earlier in the year where there was plenty of night time lightning, the best I'd seen for years. Hopefully July can surprise us and let's see what tonight brings us. Cheers, Liam.
  9. Sky looks really good to my south, reminds me of a few summers back when a huge storm developed over north london and drifted through Hertfordshire. Will see what comes out of it.
  10. Feels ever so humid all of a sudden now that the suns come out, not looking good though. Similar situation as Monday with storms going round me, almost exactly the same in fact!
  11. Looks pretty messy out there now, no visible convection apart from the dark mass to my NE where there's an electrified cell.
  12. Two small popcorn cells to my west, hopefully they can keep building! Planes are still flying over me into luton at the moment.
  13. Looks really good outside, but I think it's going to be a close but no cigar situation unless something builds to my south west. Good luck everyone who hasn't had anything yet! Can see a rain curtain to my west, don't think it's a very potent cell but could be building? Also dark to my south west
  14. Thanks for your quick replies! Looks like we'll just have to wait and see then, luckily I finish my last exam tomorrow morning so I have the entire day to sky gaze
  15. Looks like I'm going to miss out but hopefully if something kicks off south of here I'll be able to get some nice shots of an anvil or two. Is tomorrow still looking decent for most of England?
  16. Heard some rumbling thunder from the cell to my east about 20 minutes ago, strange because its a fair distance away!
  17. https://forum.netweather.tv/gallery/image/15896-2012-05-28-170418/ Couple of shots, one towards east herts/essex and the other north herts/cambs

  19. Looks like they were picked up from the cells to my w and NW. Will keep an ear out for thunder but I think it's just too far away. Dark hazy sky out there though, and the towers seem quite high, almost coming over my house aha!
  20. Something more substantial developing just to my west. Perfect view out one of my upstairs windows, shame I don't have a camera to get a time lapse! Showing up on radar now
  21. Couple of rumbles of thunder during my media exam as expected! About 14:30 this occurred. Then some pea sized hail from the edge of a cell on my walk home, distant rumbling to my south east still.
  22. Should have a nice storm slap bang in the middle of my exam tomorrow while I'm stuck inside, it's inevitable. Nice bit of cape showing tomorrow afternoon for midlands, EA and the SE.
