Well its been a beautiful few days here and the temp is at 27.8C at midday, wonder how close we will get to 30C today! Clear blue skies and proper summer weather!

Had no extra snow last night, must of missed any that did make it over. Dry here and the snow has mostly gone except a thin layer still hanging on the grass.

Is it just me or looking at the radar the band appears to be struggling to make any inroads over wales and breaks up pretty quickly?

Fingers crossed! Just started snowing properly here now, small flakes and light but its a start and can see it sticking to cars etc straight away. Hopefully will only get better over the coming hour or so!

A bit of light snizzle started here, not enough to see under the lamppost only when I went outside. Hopefully some of the heavier stuff makes it this way!

Very interesting watching the band grow and build over the south east, with a bit of luck will maintain enough of a north trajectory to keep us in line for some more snow in the south! (I live in hope)

So is that just about it for snow for us from this spell now?

Snow was heavier for a while, gone lighter and finer again now but has given a recovering to the wet cars and some of the roofs. Ground is too wet now for any covering though. Got just under an inch of snow on the garden table and grass though has thawed a bit. Temp has dropped back down to 0.3C which is nice to see.

Our 1cm of Snow thawed very quick here, mostly just whats on the grass left. Good old snow shield in full effect! One day we will get a good covering again im sure ? Atleast we've had a few coverings late winter/spring, so happy with that!

Snow mostly melted on roads/pavements. Still a covering of maybe a cm on cars, roofs, grass. Just hasn't been heavy or big enough to keep any ground coverings. Still nice to see just wish it was more than dandruff still!

We have a thin dusting on most surfaces, not quite a cm though. The snow is still light and like dandruff here so not accumulating. Need it to be heavier with bigger flakes for the last few hours, its like a repeat of last time so far otherwise ??

Got a dusting on the cars but thats it and snow stopped, i think im in a dry patch again, the snow shield is strong here.

Not got anything here yet, was a light dusting of snow on the cars in Bridgend an hour ago but Tondu has nothing as of yet, fingers crossed for later though!

Had bits of light snow when I was in Cathays in Cardiff this morning. Nothing since I've got back home to Tondu expect a strong wind. Interesting to see how tonight/tomorrow goes, not long to wait now!

Yes and hopefully I won't be in the amber warning for nothing this time haha Will probably be more wet snow than powdery I'd imagine this time though so will stick more rather than blow around everywhere?

Appears to be a bit of an upgrade for us? Amber warning for some of us for Sunday for snow now!

If I end up in the dry spot and miss out again compared to others then im becoming anti winter all together ? least im on annual leave to enjoy it (albeit will be a bit hungover come sunday!)

Im out in cardiff for my Birthday celebrations Friday and Saturday night so as long as it stays dry I will be happy. But expecting to miss out like last time for the most part on anything that does happen again ?

Hmm with uppers of -8c at this time of year daytime highs will still reach 4-6C+ surely? So im not expecting much if any snow for most lowland areas if it comes off.

Temps a balmy 2.4C now and the thaw has slowly but surely set in! I expect the snow to be gone by tomorrow here. That was a pretty good cold spell and one i will certainly remember, especially after the last 7 years of not really having anything. However 2010 still beat this cold spell for my area! Its been fun and im looking forward to spring warmth and chasing thunderstorms now, until next winter beast from the east!

With it being further east how does that affect what areas are likely to see the snow in South Wales? Also appears to be losing some of its intensity?

Yes meto have snow/heavy snow early morning turning to rain tomorrow, will be interesting to see how it goes

That shows rain here, send it back I'm sure it would be snow though if temps we as they are. If we could just nudge that heavier precip a bit further west for a change
