  1. Max of 27C here today, quite good considering it was mainly overcast until 4-5pm.
  2. Feeling very warm in the sun. Max of 26.1C today, currently 25.7C.
  3. I recall the longest thunderstorm by far I've ever seen occured when I was on Marco Island back in April 2003.
  4. The storm has passed through but still with rumbles of thunder in the distance, meanwhile another cell with some fairly bright echoes on the radar is on course to arrive here soon, so fingers crossed for a second storm of the day!
  5. Nice storm ongoing here, heavy rainfall with IC lightning, thunder and some hail. Thunder becoming quite frequent.
  6. Nice little storm ongoing here, torrential rain at times with IC lightning and thunder + hail for the first time in a storm this year.
  7. Several rumbles of thunder here in the past few minutes though it appears quite distant.
  8. A dull, wet and cool day. Maximum temperature of 16.8C, currently only 12.3C with 8.7mm of rain falling today so far.
  9. Probably should of put in my post that they were the official highest temperatures recorded in those months..
  10. There were several recordings of 30C+ in 2009, infact 30C was officially reached somewhere in England in all three summer months, which must of been the last summer to do so. June 2009: 31.8C in Wisley, Surrey July 2009: 32C in Hampton, Greater London August 2009: 30.3C in Gravesend, Kent (Thanks to Met Office data) Interestingly only 3 days here so far have reached/ gone above the average maximum of 22C so far this July. How many degrees below the average maxima out of interest for July would it take for a day to be classed 'exceptionally cool'?
  11. Thunder becoming more frequent from a cell with its core just to my NW.
  12. Plenty of dark clouds to my south, and turning cloudier here..
  13. Second cell earlier gave several rumbles of thunder though there wasn't any lightning( some lightning according to the NW dectector north and west of here.)
  14. New shower has arrived here, moderate - heavy rain with a rumble of thunder so far.
  15. Small storm passed through here not too long ago: at least five rumbles of thunder, several IC lightning strikes and heavy rain. Possibly more to come later?
  16. Had a storm pass through here 25-30 minutes ago, with at least five rumbles of thunder, several IC lightning strikes and heavy rain.
  17. Dull and mild, 6.9mm of rain so far today, 14.5C. Maximum temperature yesterday of 26.1C.
  18. Warmest day of the year with a max of 27.9C. Currently 27C.
