after a sleety rainy start lovely nice and white outside again
Sleet and rain turned to snow now in Hessle alot of the snow has thawed though now. Was worried it might be an non event here about 20 miles inland but right on the Humber closed to recording an week of lying snow now :-)
wonder if it will turn to snow round here

I have it on good authority that south yorkshire will get sleet while west gets heavy snow ahahhaha

wow, another metoffice update for here, sleet at 3pm, light snow at 6pm, heavy snow due at 9pm, so to me that says rain/sleet all the way
still saying all snow for donny from 6pm

The part heading towards Norwich on rain today looks pretty intense

Is this snow actually getting any nearer? Looking at the loop on NW radar it appears to be at the bottom corner of The Wash, near King's Lynn, for the past hour or so and has made no progress northward at all. Anyone else noticed this?

I don't actually live at LBA LOL. I would expect there be delays perhaps cancellation depending on how much we see. So far all flights to and from EU countries are running fine.

Pretty pathetic 2 hours of "snizzle" so far here in Lincoln. Kind of settling. Not a patch on what we had on Monday though.

Some areas in midlands etc were on yellow alert this morning they are now on orange so as you see its changing all the time and still time for us to be upgraded but alot of snow will still fall 2-5cm locally 10-15cm higher ground but the weather will decide what it wants to do not the bbc forecast! enjoy everyone and be safe out there
