Its a total non event in West Yorkshire - where is the 20cm of snow going to come from!
The weather forecast forced me onto the train
Shall in invoice the met office £14 for the train i didnt need to catch!
I should have driven to work today!

Well I have to say that the latest bbc forecast graphics were dreadful! A few light flurries on the Pennines! Showed no snow in the region and NO snow showers! A complete and utter non event. Whilst everyone else in the south and east can say remember jan 2013 -well no, was nothing here! Media are just as bad implying the midlands as the whole country!

Hahaha! We usually do so rubbish on the coast so this is Brill!! In fact this cold spell beats 2010 already here in terms of snow.

We've done well again overnight with another covering. Slight thaw on roads before more showers headed in and covered us again. Sky gone black and it's starting again!
Temp -0.4C with Dew point of -0.5C.
Looking great for the rest of the day and tomorrow as long as the temp doesn't rise and turn it to rain!
PMP i am sick of of hearing about your piles of snow everyday lol

School has just said if it snows too much we will have to cancel the exams, I do not want it to snow I've been preparing for these exams for months!

A bit disappointing here, most of the showers were too far east despite being only a few miles from the coast. What few did make it inland were killed off by the North York Moors and Yorkshire Wolds.
Nevertheless we still have a thin covering which if it manages to stay intact by 0900 will just qualify as a snow lying day.
Currently 0.2C and -1.6C dewpoint, I expect it will really fall when the cloud moves out during the night.
I thought all of East Yorkshire might of done well today obviously not.i could see the tops of the cloud passing from my living room window.

What did you feed the hog with?
They can also hang around for ages eating you out of house and home and then disappear for months only to return if you are lucky months later.

Just had this little guy come in to the garden and go behind some pallets so I gave him some food and then off he went
