  1. Not the way I read it. Like a few other areas, you dont become affected till midnight, we start at 2100. Aberdeen at about 1500.

Here is yours........with a 87% risk.........trust me I am not convinced either, but wondered what everyone thinks??

Unless I'm wrong - the meto fax chart (posted earlier) would indicate that some activity is heading our way overnight - though beeb weather are saying the opposite...

It's times like this that really confuse me..

  2. Driving into work in Glasgow from Stirling just now, was interesting to say the least...

-11 at my house in Stirling, with no variance to speak of all the way through to central (yes central) Glasgow, where the temp in my car is showing -10 !!

My car struggled with the temp, the accelerator idle speed was stuck on due to the severe temps, which was a bit hairy until I stopped and turned off the engine.

Snow I can deal with, but these temps are absolutely ridiculous, and it will only get colder....

  3. Stirling is currently clear but very very cold....

Had some flurries last night but nowt to speak about, hoping to have some more but it's looking unlikely.

I notice the bbc have stopped giving forecasts beyond tomorrow, although it was funny watching Gail Whasshhername on Reporting Scotland last night trying to tell us -20 was on the cards for next week.
