Very heavy rain and loads of thunder and lightning here currently.

My mate caught this with his phone last night. Its from a little island just off poole he is there with his daughters scout group.

I follow this thread through the whole year. I love the cold and snow and the summer storms if i have any. But this year i cant wait for this winter to end and grab some gavin warmth. Ive had some great times along the way thanks to posters like gibby steve murr the eye in the sky nick susex and john holmes.As i have found when they post less winters ending. Then when storm season kicks in we have coast who posts up daily charts showing every chance anyone has . And to think i found this site by chance well its the best find ever. Ive found myself giving workmates a breif outlook on the weather from just reading this thread and been right about 7 times out of 10.And its all down to you wonderfull people on here .So this year im going to concentrate on understanding the models more

wow coventrys not that far from you and ive got an inch 2 at a push and thats thawing. I suppose having better elavation than me has helped. The missis was at the rugger tavern in nuneaton last night and said it was heavier over there. Im not to bothered about not having mutch as it realy has been a great winter for seeing snow Cant remember seeing snow falling so many times here. Just been out for a ciggie and noticed ice forming on the clothes line so temps must be dropping just hope the dripping stops now.

Sleet here at the moment with more rain than snow but still plenty of time yet.

good couple of centimeters here in coventry(cv6) and still coming down heavy. How longs this going to last?

Ive had it on my phone for a couple of weeks now and found it to be not to bad during the cold snap just gone. But what we rearly need is a net weather app now that would be good.

This cold spell has been brilliant for where i am. Not had snow as deep since 90-91. I have a 5 year old daughter and to see here enjoying herself in her first ever proper snow has made it even more worthwhile.So when it does turn milder i want be complaining because as much as i love snow ive had great satisfaction from this spell.

What makes me laugh even more is that they have a picture of cathedrel lanes shopping center on the fron page of bbc news england. On the story of snow and ice how ironic. Hows the snow looking in northampton as step daughter travels to the uni from cov on train daily. I told here not to bother today.
