    I say this every year... weather warnings are issued for DISRUPTION and does not always cover areas which will see snow. Essex/Suffolk has warnings in place for Sat/Sun but not for disruptive snow.

    I see no downgrades on the tv forecasts although the risk factor remains 60% light snow and 30% heavy snow. Most places in our area will see 12-24 hours of continuous light snow

    Yep Mike Fish delivered it well without over-ramping it all. (Not too convinced for tonight yet though!)

    Two things to remember. Julie Reinger is; A not a meteorologist just a forecaster (with no previous experience in weather) and B a outside company provide the weather forecasts and data for Look East and Eastern radio stations.

    Yep, new run of the predictive radar only gives us the far western edge with the heavier stuff for Maldon

    I'll admit I haven't looked into the models for tomorrow after today's disappointment for EA. I think it's a case for 'nowcasting' and watching the radar. Certainly potential from the fax charts. I'm keen on Sunday and Monday though, but a long way off still

    Radar has the band dead centre over Chelmsford at 22.35Z according to the predictive radar. Not convinced as it is slightly pivoting. Paul: Going with some old school mates and tagging with a local MSNBC crew in OK

    National BBC are not keen on anything really in the SE/EA tomorrow, local should be different (unless all the models are wrong!) Looking like heavy snow hitting Chelmsford in 40 minutes judging by the latest radar

    I like talking about the weather and mention 'previous' events and the Southend snow records of past but they quote it to make it sound like it's gonna happen again They have also quoted a website wich isn't even mine (someone is getting free advertising though) I'll take a look in the photograhpy section, haven't been there yet!
