It is getting fatter but it's also heading down towards the east. I knew it. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/radar/index.html Petering out towards the west
Some on the NE thread are saying the metoffice should have updated to red. Some are saying its raining. They also think the bad has doubled in width, fattened out. Its on for some of us
Some on the Scotland thread are reporting heavy snow with 3cm in 15mins. However, some are saying they're having nothing. Some are also saying it's extremely fast moving with sensational sized flakes. Who knows 1 said the BBC got it spot on!!!!! oh no
Brief update from me. Temperature rose to 1.7c as it clouded over but no precipitation. It's now a bit brighter and it's a better -0.5c, feeling very cold. At risk of repeating myself. How's it going to RAIN/SLEET when it only rose to 1.7c all day? What are the BBC and Metoffice on? If it does rain here and snow in the other places(i.e they get it right) I'll never doubt them again
Look at this, a tad pathetic http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/radar/index.html Click on 12:00, then 14:30, its already losing it's bulk. I'm really down about this, i hope im wrong
The metoffice are forecasting snow really for the first time in my location http://www.metoffice...st_weather.html If we get a good 1/2in tonight IF and then some more from Sunday through to Monday, this could well shape up nicely Look at this. Just 15 miles down the road and nothing http://www.metoffice...st_weather.html This really is going to be hit and miss, especially Sunday and Monday. Good luck peoples Does this show a few showers approaching the Midlands http://www.meteox.co...oom&x=174&y=205 Perhaps we're going to see and early flurry
Some very heavy downpours in western Scotland. This is looking quite good but can it bring snow down here BBC still adamant it'll rain over Wales and west.mids. What are they on about http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/ Watch the video
Shropshire most favoured. I really hope so, thanks for the good luck, back to you in Birmingham. About this though, does anything support the snow on Sunday, i take it it's showers not a band but does anything support these claims???
To be honest I'd take a 1-2in covering in Shrewsbury. We regularly miss out. How can you all be so certain, on the midlands boards, it's all uncertain and negative doom and gloom
