agreed odd cloud movement here in Essex too mid/upper levels and lower levels at right angles ... !

after rain this afternoon followed by a lovely clear spell later on - early evening we've lots of streaming Mackerel sky now looking promising for later Essex

remember everyone - especially OP - the original title of this thread Sunday's Low - Potential Bad Weather for England or Not therefore emphasis on England - for which it was almost a non-event

storm I think has gone past us (not that that means we haven't had strongest winds yet) I think its in the channel towards the north sea ?

interesting - Chelmsford has no flood warnings at all in effect ? nothing special yet IMO not sure what the fuss is about its just an Autumn storm right ? (for us anyway)

where in Chelmsford has sand-bags protecting houses ? (live in Chelmsford and interested to see) - I haven't seen any sand bags used

yup perhaps they've just put it Yellow before all S-East turns red ? can't see how it can't reach Essex

with the NW radar - in "large view" is there anyway to keep that view and let it auto-update ? its just the standard view looks very small on a 1900x1200 monitor cheers
