MK has decided to join in on the grauple/dandruff fun - this must be some sort of record for number of days snow has fallen here - hope I'm not saying this for much longer !

Just had a look at the charts and there seems to be good agreement that it will feel WARM from the 13th..........................oh I hope so
I hope so too - it will be even better when it will feel HOT

Morning all,
no snow here....or even frost - quite happy about that really
In my mind it's warm and sunny but the reality isn't quite so bright this morning but at least it isn't raining !
Have a lovely day

A leaked Met Office document has been found on a tube train at Ealing Broadway Station this morning which appears to show statistics pointing to the inevitability of a new Maunder Minimum. A Maunder Minimum is most famously documented as the cause of the Mini Ice Age in the 17th & 18th century which contributed to
many years without a Summer, thick sea ice and numerous London Thames frost fairs.
Prof Julia Slingo, Chief Scientist of the MetOffice replied, "Although most of our information and research is made public, some of it however is made confidential for various reasons. Therefore it is completely unacceptable for confidential dossiers to be leaked publicly like this." She also added, "Due to the lowest sunspot activity we've witnessed in 400 years, there's almost no doubt that our Winters will get much colder than present along with Summers getting a lot cooler and wetter."
Dr Paul Leinster, Chief Executive of the Environment Agency said, "We are now entering what looks to be a very harsh period for the UK, the longevity of it is yet to be known, however we do urge the public not to panic until we firm up exactly what is happening to our climate with help from experts."
Russian scientist Dr Habibullo Abdussamatov, of the St Petersburg Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory, painted the Doomsday scenario as well, saying the recent inclement weather simply proved we were heading towards a frozen planet.
Dr Abdussamatov believes Earth was on an “unavoidable advance towards a deep temperature dropâ€

Got a leg of Welsh lamb for Easter tomorrow, going to mash up some anchovies, garlic, rosemary, olive oil and black peppercorns into a rough paste and try to shove under the skin of the lamb, pour some white wine in the base of the roasting pan and see what happens. proper roasties done in goose fat (just need to catch a goose) and a bottle of st emilion. Plus some Tizer for the kids - lucky gits..
If it's Welsh lamb just be grateful you didn't have to catch it....you would not believe the extremes they go to to avoid being caught ....
Same here for lunch today and turkey tomorrow (both minus the goose fat)
Happy Easter to you all anyway, it was minus three when I left the house for an early walk this morning and while I was out we had a shower of grauple but it's plus three now with blue sky and sunshine so not too bad at all

Big flakes coming down here for last 10 mins. Grass white; cars too!
That's great AA but can you please put your location in your profile...... Its handy when reporting snow fall to know where you are !
You can do this by clicking on your profile (top right hand corner), then clicking "edit profile". Add your location and save

Hope everyone is having a good good Friday !
Came out the shopping centre in CMK to find it was snowing....only a few small grains and it didn't last long...not sure if that counts as a white Easter or not really
Well up to right now.
It has been a wonderful sunny day.
Wearing a jumper no coat, and even had the window in the car?
Shopping all done, now watching. Film with hot cross buns
I've just had one of those with a cup of coffee, they were just putting them out in Sainsburys they were still warm so I couldn't resist !!
