Is it just me or was there a large Stourbridge and Halesowen shaped hole in that last shower? Oh well, still got a bit of it.
-
Looks like I've managed to snatch some over here. Nothing serious, but ever so pretty.
-
Had some snow, nothing much but nice to look at. Quite heavy for a time as well, before it relaxed to soft hail, then rain.
-
I don't think any gritting happened yesterday - Stourbridge Road was completely gridlocked in the morning. It's usually among the higher priority roads as well.
-
I'm starting to fear for drivers around here now... Stourbridge Road is completely covered. I've never seen that at all before. I would've thought that all the cars going up and down would've at least made some clear tracks, but there's been nothing. It won't be that bad once traffic gets going again.
EDIT:
It's a blizzard out there. Absolutely rediculous sized flakes being pasted on the ground. And according to the radar, there's more to come. It doesn't get better than this.
-
Yes, it looks like a few more may creep down through the night.
But then that's all folks!
EDIT:
Those showers are lining up perfectly to strike us in Halesowen and Stourbridge. I may see another few cms at this rate...!
EDIT ONCE MORE:
And... it's snowing again.
-
Quite a nice covering here now too. Still going. I'd say it was just shy of a cm.
It's been a nice winter.
Still, there may be more...
-
I may actually manage to get a white covering here... this first shower has made mostly everything white and there's another one which (at current track) would strike me staright on.
-
Oh please let one of these showers stike. Even Smethwick has had more than this.
-
Maybe there may be a few more. But they'll all be eye candy at the most, nothing serious at all.
-
Hmm, probably make it better for me, there seemed to be a line where there was no showers at all (which if there were would have hit me)!
-
A Blizzard of tiny flakes here right now!
Same here now. Blizzle again.
-
-
Now that's what I call snizzle... It looks like very light drizzle but it's making everything look white.
-
Hmm, maybe there's a chance of it going between and striking me dead on.
Either way, it'll take an hour or two before it gets here. So even if it does make it, I probably won't.
-
Hopefully I can steal a bit of it!
EDIT: Looks like our theives are at work. Making a patchy white effect on the roads.
-
It appears that this'll be one of those times where one place gets a covering whereas the neighbour a few miles down the road gets very little.
I bet Stourbridge will get alot and not me just to the east...
-
Yes, the shows are getting going now. Hopefully they won't break up at Stourbridge like the first one did.
-
Ahh, it feels like winter over here. Tucked in a warm house against the bitter cold of outside and light snow falling on the ground.
-
It just looks so nice out there at the moment. No wind, big flakes fluttering down over a white landscape. Not bad for the first half of the winter!
-
Just shy of 3 inches fresh snowfall here in Halesowen. Still falling quite capably. According to what I think's happened, that's a whole 13 hours of snow today!
Although I don't expect it to last much longer.
-
It's finally got here now, and already produced a dusting over practically everything, so i'm off.
Gnight all!
-
It's started moving again. It's just the precip border north west of birmingham that was defective. There's a heavy bit right now advancing right towards me...
-
Looks to have stalled but that could just be my radar weary eyes....
Well, the stronger precip is still moving east well, it's just the very east edge (which had weak precip already) had stopped. So either way, it'll move again sooner or later.

They'll need to be nearer to Hull for the path to me, but I fear they'll peter out before they reach Brum.
