    So am I right in thinking here in S E Wales at 350m asl we are going to get a gd snow fall this evening? Had some heavy showers here in Blaenavon during the da, some of which have caused chaos on the roads.

    Had a gd few cm in Blaenavon over night and plenty of showers this AM. The mountain road between Blaenavon and Abergavenny was particularly bad on the Monmouthshire sid.

    That snow that was in Tredegar is now in Blaenavon, everything covered in 10 mins. It's been a freezing cold afternoon and evening, particularly in the wind.

    I'd be surprised if it is raining in Cowbridge. I'm at 350m in Blaenavon and it's raining, sleet at best.

    What do people think the chances of seeing snow in south east Wales at 350m asl this week?!? Seems no one is willing to sticky their neck out and go with one way or other.

    Derek has us down for Rain on Tuesday up here in the mountains. (Blaenavon 350m asl)lol I would think it needs to warm up a fair bit for that to happen.... But u never know. Lovely day here today but bitterly cold especially in the wind. Had some fine snow falling about 60 mins ago.

    We have had a few nasty showers this morning turning from Rain to sleet to snow in the last shower. on the model thread they are still predicting a cold blast as of tomorrow.

    Cold wet and windy start to the day in Blaenavon... The showers are of sleet with the top of the Coity mountain (+/- 500) with snow.

    Torfaen council have tweeted this evening that road temperatures along high routes could drop below freezing during the night with possible snow in the morning.

    A good 3 - 4 inches here in Blaenavon, cold start to the day. It seems most roads are clear and passable with care. What's this about next week's potential weather?

    The Coity mountain over looking Blaenavon snow covered this morning! Currently fine, sunny but seems a little colder than this morning!

    Snowing here in Blaenavon +300 metres asl. Sun was shining only 30 mins ago,now it's gone very dark. gritters were out and about before 7am up here.

    Increased cloud cover wind has picked up and feels very raw out there in Blaenavon.... think we could have some snow soon.
