    Snowing here in Blaenavon, North Gwent and sticking! How much longer is this snow going to keep on? Think we had rain before the snow arrived around 7am. Temp on my car -0.5 oC

    Superb Pics! this is whats on my dorr step and we still have snow lying around town! As for the fishing pond on the top! lol Not quite a fishing pond! Its known locally as the keepers pond and was used during the industrial revolution! Temp here in Blaenavon around 3-4 oC today and yesterday while down in Undy and Magor it was 10oC massive difference

    Morning all!! We had about 20 - 25 cm here in Blaenavon, What is forecast for the next 4-5 hours? BBC Wales had a man on a bridge just outside Cardiff, where they had about 4 cm of snow lol! last week he was in Crickhowell where they about 4cm of snow come in the the valleys and have a look! Just a note to :- If you plan to travel through Blaenavon, the roads have been ploughed but no grit put down so the roads are like an ice skating rink! happy days!

    Morning All Carol on the BEEB said that we will not be having as much snow as they first thought this morning, When is this Snow due to hit south East Wales? And how much are we gonna get now?

    i would think that its very educated guess! we have already had two snow falls in Blaenavon of around 1 foot!

    You can travel on the road, but i would take your time, as Torfaen have failed to grit the roads in and around Blaenavon since last Thursday! If you know the area you will be aware, that the road is prone to having snow blown on it from the Mountain, making the road slippery in places!

    Moderate snow here in Blaenavon, in the North of the eastern valley of Gwent! and it has been since at least 8am, and slowly seems to be increasing! we have had a mm's ontop of the foot of snow we already got lol what can we expect today and in to the rest of the week?

    Hi there from Wales Just wondering how much snow you have had down in Kent around the Ashford area! my wife is currently down there, and what can we expect for next Friday? she has to travel back to siberian south wales on friday afternoon!

    Just been on Met office site and they have increased the warning for tomoz for the whole of wales, and on the rain fall chart it looks like maybe as far west as Neath could get a bit of snow??

    Snowing here in Blaenavon, North Gwent and has been for about 30 mins! The snow seems fine but theres a lot of it if you know what i mean! How much can we expect over the next 24 hrs??

    Hello all Can we expect anymore snow up here in the Gwent Valleys anytime soon? lol There is still about 6 inches of snow and ice from last weeks snow, and -8 at 8am this morning a bit chilly!

    Its been snowing most of the morning here in Blaenavon in the north of the eastern valley around 1250 ft above sea level. See attached pic! How much can we expect to have today and tomorrow?
