By brutal you mean good right

Up to 18cm now not sure measured in the best place think it's more like 20cm across the board.... Be 23 cm in another couple of hours if this keeps going.

    Been Heavy snow since 2.45pm.

Its was a brutal walk home from work. I’m going to wait until later to measure the snow, come on 20cm

Been very heavy showers here last couple of hours... One lasted 40 minutes just as went out to sledge and snowball fight which was just luck.... Ive steered clear of the radar today just looking now. Hope the whole perth contingent have had these showers I have been getting. Defo lining up beefier ones towards Lothian now but plenty random showers being generated and given the forecasts in here confident will have about 13cm to 15cm by tomorrow morning.

Been so consumed by this spell not looked beyond Wednesday so may go and see what the future potentially holds aswell.

    Delighted for @Hawesy

And just like that I think @Norranceshower from his walk has reached here.

    Vid from around 4.45 earlier.

Including the heavy shower at teatime 7cm here which is not bad.  wish I could have your optimism @edo for snow tonight

We're starting to see the southward shift on the convergence zone on the radar. Probably expect it to end up over the Forth (although with the northern end still North of the Tay just about) by 5pm based on the models and the radar, although the heaviest and most persistent stuff will arrive tomorrow morning.

Can I ask if Perth area will still see any of the more persistent showers tonight/tomorrow?  I feel we’re going to end up missing out again.

Here are my thoughts on where and when the most frequent snow showers will occur across Scotland. Thinking Tayside will get most frequent snow showers today, this will slowly move south into south Tayside and into Fife this evening and overnight. By tomorrow morning most shower activity will be getting into parts of the central belt and by the end of tomorrow most showers will be moving through the central belt more. i expect 5-10cm for most, locally 20cm possible.

Awww was hoping we’d get showers here until Tuesday

loving the @Mr Frostregular updates, its awesome and much appreciated

expecting some in depth analysis of the week ahead from @LomondSnowstormand @Kirkcaldy Weather soon

good walk with the whole family today.... 4 kids loving walking around the woods ..... well with the promise of a starbucks if dont moan. Was only a few miles from here at Kinclaven and amazing they had clearly had  quite a bit more snow over the last while.

Walk was a treacherous ice fest and at one point i effectively sledged down a hill without a sledge whilst trying to rescue one of the kids

keeping a close eye on Tue to see if can make it 2-2 in marginal events here this winter with 2 busts and 1 win.

@edo I really hope it’s not marginal again getting the impressing it going to be a rain event for us in Perth.
