  3. the general consensus from some LRF's is for a breakdown around 15th-18th jan but unlike recent the cold will never be too far away and colder conditions are likely to arrive again around 22nd-25th
  4. maybe. the wednesday morning feature i discussed can be clearly seen below, just clipping s eastern wales before slipping away
  5. there is a lot more precip on the latest nae than is being shown on bbc forecast.NAE ties in more with what sky are forecasting. 2-5 CM widespread
  6. yes but I.F was talking about devon and cornwall where this risk is increased and not south wales, that wrap round trough feeding the warmer air has been updated to a front, thus increasing the snow risk id expect up to 2 cm of snow across a large portion of s wales tomorrow morning. tomorrow evening another front moves south across the country and i'd also expect this to follow a more southerly line than being forecast giving a further cm or 2 to areas east of say port-talbot/swansea. As this front pulls away on wednesday morning there is a small chance (20% or so) of another period of snow pepping up across the far south east of wales and the south west midlands for a short time.
  7. snow from a shallow trough pushing across England and Wales overnight Thursday into Friday http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/ukmo2.php?ech=96&carte=2000 http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/ukmo2.php?ech=120&carte=2000
