    current temp +1.4, a few flakes of snow in the air a breeze has picked up from the east..

    Still overcast, a few flakes about an hour ago, temp dropping slightly now at +2, v light breeze. Not much sign of the snow melting on the pavements around here at the moment. sledging has been good though!

    I believe there is a direct bus service from Preston to Bolton that stops in Horwich 126 or 127 and then about 1 mile or so to Rivi barn

    Just come back from work, the count so far is 15cm of snow. current temp of zero. I don't think I will be using the car for the next few days!

    The snow has easied off here at the moment, with a temp of 0 c

    Just been out with the ruler and so far the snow measures 5cm with virtually no wind and it is still coming down!

    Have got a couple of centimeters here and the snow is still coming down. Temp is at +0.5
