    7:30 radar still has the band of snow heading directly here with no deviation

    Started snowing here, decent sized flakes yeah!

    Looking at the radar on Will It Rain Today, I can't see any signs of the band slowing or rotating to avoid us here, should see something within the hour is my guess

    Still snowing it has been 3 hours now, this is a real bonus

    Hurray the snow started about 5pm its having no trouble covering those frozen pavements this time

    Just goes to show how much uncertainty is present in forecasting, can only hope that what actually happens is slightly different than forecast and we get a reasonable couple of centimeters of snow I suppose look at the glass being half full rather than half empty

    Local BBC forecast still talking about the amber warning for snow tomorrow.

    Look lke just a small dusting of snow for here now Can only hope forecasts are slightly inaccurate and we get the snow

    Current meteo forecast has snow starting here on tomorrow afternoon and continuing through to Sat night, wow if that comes off

    Had about an hour and half of heavy snow in bolton Town centre from 9am onwards, that was a nice surprise as meto forcast heavy rain

    Started snowing again, temp +1.7C, giving the car a coating like thin icing on a christmas cake

    Still snowing, laying a bit on the grass not on the pavement though. Obviously I am greedy for more, but on the other hand this is the second snow event of the winter I have experienced having seen it snow briefly in Bolton town center in December
