    Had a couple of mms of snow looking like polystyreine over night, with the occasional shower adding to it. Temp currently +2C

    wind has died down at the moment saw some sleet about an hour ago. just wait and see if we get snow over the next few days At least a walk up Rivington Pike should allow me too see the ice on the moors, even if there is no snow

    Yes it is a lovely morning bright sun shine reflecting of the frost, +1.4C. May not have snow but this is the next best thing in my view!

    The rain radar shows ppn heading this way in a NEly direction, but as others have already said don't expect much snow if any to be left to fall this side of the Pennines

    +2C here at the moment, Winter Hill does look nice with a sprinkling of snow

    Temp risen back to 4C from 3.8C, rain band appears to be slowing and breaking over North Wales

    Temperarture here has fallen slightly from +4.4C to 3.8C in last half an hour

    Radar shows ppn reaching welsh cost at 8:15 heading swly, the top of the area covers a lot of Northern Ireland so looks like it will reach South Lancashire, just got to wait another hour to find out

    A shower passed through about 8am, lovely and sunny now with a nice chill in the air, feels very festive, Merry Christmas all

    No sign of snow here, the sun is shining brightly at the moment. No damage in the garden, I think we got of lightly over here.

    Winds have eased it appears we have escaped the worst here. Pressure has increased from 966 hPa to 971. Night all.

    Just looked at the meteo site for Wigan and it has the max gusts at 59mph around 6pm. I hope they are right I don't much fancy facing winds stronger than that . good luck and stay safe every one.

    No worries about the high tide here in Blackrod , hope it doesn't get too bad I think we have had more than enough flooding in this country.

    Dry at the moment with temp of +3C doesn't look good for snow. Looking good for Man City though.
