Chilly, damp and dull, but it is the weekend so not all bad

There is about 1cm of snow that has survived to this morning a lot better than yesterday morning, it is all looking pretty out there.

Heavy snow at the moment, covered the road in minutes will it last or melt away like last night? We shall find out in the morning

It does look like it will be marginal, as the met office forecast for wigan is mostly for rain, whilst for Horwich only a few miles away the met office is forecasting snow

Whether we have snow or not it looks guaranteed to be cold for the rest of this week this how it 'should' be in winter

The GFS model has the cold returning at the emd of the month with alternating milder and colder spells in between.

Yes had a lot of rain so far this evening, with a current temp of +4C not very pleasant out there, decided to stay in and watch the footy on telly

Hi all, it has been snowing here for nearly two hours, the amount has been small so far similar to saturday's snowfall. It is topping up what is still around from Saturday
