    Morning all, current temp -2C. Clear sky cam just see the gold in the sky to the south as sun rise nears. It has been a lovely few cold and frosty days. It makes the more milder weather that is on the way easier to bear.

    Dropped to -1.4C last night, lovely frosty looking scene this morning. I here the miserable damp windy weather is on it's way. Still have enjoyed this frosty interlude

    Conditions dry at the moment with the temperature rising to -1.4C

    Lovely winters morning here with a heavy frost coating most things. Getting a great acoustic effect I assume connected with the cold still air, I live a couple of miles from the M61 and the railway line and at the moment they sound as close as the end of our garden.

    WE had heavy rain between about 4-5am with some frozen stuff mixed in. At 7:30 the temp was +3C, dropped to +1.8c by 8.30, now with the sun's influence climbing to +2.1c. Quite happy with the begining of winter so far as it was nice to the frost together with the christmas tree in the town centre

    Turned foggy after sunrise in Bolton town centre, cleared and then became foggy again after sunset. Current temp +0.6C

    Survived the wind and rain virtually unscathed up here. Looking at the various forcasts it looks like we are in for a chilly couple of weeks, just to get me in the christmas spirit, bah humbug

    Woke up to heavy rain with a temp of 10C I must have slept for 3 months and now it's October

    Rainy and breezy feels more like early spring than July brrrrr

    Raining here, but not too heavy at the moment, I am sure that will change.

    Reached a max of 12.6 C today with a low of 4.7 C last night. Mix of sun and clouds today, felt lovely and warm in the sun and cold when it went in behind the clouds

    Looking very miserable with a temp of +5c, feels more like February than being on the brink of May.

    Had more heavy showers including hail today, it's raining in the wrong place,it needs to move further east and south

    I'm not getting my hopes up for snow, on the other hand I'm a bit disapointed at having to turn the heating back on again
