I wonder when we will see the warnings being upgraded to Amber, because as it stands we could easily see more snow than anyone else has all week, coupled with high winds, we could also see drifting.

I'm getting a little carried away now, but could easily be the case.

I would love to see some lying snow too but fear I might be just a tad East for the end of the week. My pond waterfall has icicles but pump still working so I'm keeping an eye on the fish who are huddled together bless them. Fingers crossed everyone in our region gets the snow they want.

On the snowier side of sleet here but not settling. Must be close! Encouraged that the Met Office still have us under train at this point but sleet by 9am, so perhaps even more favourable conditions to come here!

I hope so! It's snowing here and I saw a few flakes yesterday afternoon which was good. Only problem is having to go to work shortly, wish this snow was yesterday. Have a good day.

Anyone else still buzzing from the storm tues eve/wed am?

    ;)

Definitely! I had a meeting the following day but most people were tired too as they watched the storm as well. Some of our colleagues travelled down from the midlands and stayed in a hotel on Hayling Island and were so excited that they had seen a storm over the sea as it wasn't usually something that they could do due to their location obviously! Hope for some more thunder over the weekend possibly especially with no work to get up for but I'm not expecting anything much.
