Gutted to say the least I can hear you laughing at my pathetic 0.5 cm yes I did type that correctly before you ask. Had a few blizzards last night but no accumulation whatsoever! Oh well I shall eat my bar of chocolate and sulk seriously pleased for you guys tho

It's still snowing in Hull. We missed out on all the earlier fun so nice to see constant blizzards out the windows

To be fair if think people are well prepared now anyway. Fun and games all this weather watching but so dangerous on the roads

Is it my untrained eye or are the gaps closing? It appears to be knitting together (see the technical phrase I used) we have sat in this god awful gap all day

Yes the snow off my neighbours shed roof keeps blowing past my window... At least that's something! Hoping sone of those beefy showers off the east coast might hit... Maybe not tho lol

Don't start me off... Will it help when/if the wind changes direction? Had a great start this morning with thundersnow and heavy showers.. Nothing since!!!

Evening reef, my thoughts exactly. What direction are these showers coming in at and when will they shift easterly? I'm struggling to see on the radar! We just seem to miss the heavier bursts where as Beverley are doing much better

Feeling your pain. as someone else said earlier the photos are all you have left when it's melted. Hope you haven't taken offence to our banter on here over the last few days.. You have certainly brought us a little light humour and I for one have enjoyed your posts. Who needs the snow it's over rated!

My new screen saver! Next winter I'm going to book a holiday somewhere cold and snowy fingers crossed for later I like the look of those fax charts just waiting on my sausage casserole all this internet browsing has made me starving
