I wonder why the met office are having transmission problems.. It won't be snow stuck on their bloody aerial that's for sure just thought I'd add... It's sunny outside with blue sky's and guess what it's snowing!!! Give me strength lol

No your correct... Utter tripe I have a feeling we may do better tomorrow... Looks like some beefy showers off Norway and with a more easterly flow we may just get a streamer or two... But don't hold me accountable for that lol

Afternoon fellow snow seekers ok so since this morning we have had light showers on and off... Nothing to write home about and nothing on the ground at the moment! The sun has attempted to shine through the clouds on a couple of occasions but again nothing worth a mention. We have just had a more heavier shower of snow... Yes proper flakes.. None of that powdery rubbish but only lasted 5 minutes! back to light tiny flakes as I type and falling so slowly it's pathetic Dosent matter what app, channel or radar I look at ( I've searched a few) !!! They all completely contradict each other. Will we see something tomorrow? Honestly I'm not sure now and wouldn't place a bet on it. Lets see what happens later with the updated met warnings

At what range should we be able to view streamers pushing in ? Are we expecting the showers Monday evening? Thanks in advance. I find the faxes and charts somewhat confusing as I'm only learning. For anyone that hasn't viewed Jo farrows post about the lake effect it's certainly worth a read and very informative

The mods need to shove half this mornings posts into the regionals.. Most of the posts are regarding the south! Well said rich and still game on for us in the north

Morning all, correct me if I'm wrong but why have the met office updated the yellow warnings to cover more days/ areas? Are they playing safe or do they know something we don't! Just went in the mad thread and it's now a damp squib with rain for most.

Yes Newcastle looking fantastic. Think my best chance is a Humber streamer...after all this ramping up I hope I'm not going to disappointed. Accumulations don't look that great for my area, but I guess it's too early at this stage to tell where and what will fall. Sledge and snow shovel at the ready
