    It was 2.6oC when the band hit us today and snow fell straight away. In the space of about twenty minutes however, the temperature dropped to about 0.9oC.

    Can't believe we had proper snow yesterday at around +4C.

    Still coming down really fine here in Blackpool, only about 2 or 3cms put it's really nice to see it white again. Hope to wake up to an inch or two in the morning!

    Snowed all day here in Blackpool but really light. Got a bit heavier and it stuck and now we're back to light but it's settling now it has something to settle on haha

    Has anyone got temps for blackpool (rising/dropping)? I'm worried it could rain before it snows!

    Would love to see a picture from an Isle of Wight resident of the snowfall at its heaviest. I think I see a white dot on the radar!

    To be fair though, we were forecast rain last night and a new band unexpectedly formed this morning which caused the snow for the coastel areas. Anything could happen. Most of the times we get snow here in Blackpool it's not forecast!!

    Was really hoping for some more tonight here in Blackpool but it seems that any snow that tries to come over to us from the East get's broken up along the way. We always share our snow with the east!
