  1. You're posting on here for fun, they have millions of people to 'look after' they need to cover worst case scenario for the safety of those lives.
  2. My take on Thursday for most of Teesside. Will start of as light snow, turn to sleet pretty quickly and then to rain with no accumulations.
  3. I did say that a few days back. It's March, to get any decent snow to low levels in Teesside, you need an exceptional cold spell. We struggle in January and February, never mind March.
  4. We'll see. I'll openly admit to being wrong but on a winter that promised so much, I've had more dandruff than I have snow.
  5. Nothing to do with what they say, it's years of experience of disappointment. To get anything worthwhile in parts of Teesside requires something spectacular and that's mid winter, never mind March.
  6. Where no one will see it. It will be much better for everyone involved if we actually stop being silly on such topics.
  7. There is potential every year, nothing makes this new year any special. It's like groundhog year on these forums sometimes. And while on the subject, people need to stop comparing past weather events to what they are seeing because it looks vaguely similar by 10%. The last cold spell, there was people shouting 2010 all over. In 2010, I had a foot of snow and snow lying on the ground for nearly a month. Last cold spell, I seen about 50 flakes of snow in total. People need to stop being over dramatic, it's not good for anyone.
  8. But the vast majority in winter on here want snow do they not? I live in the North East of England and didn't see any at all. Also it wasn't just about me, but a lot of people who didn't see anything.
  9. A gentle reminder that we say this every year but every year most people come out of winter into spring disappointed
  10. The chart does show snow over Yorkshire though, in line with what the forecast from Look North was.
