    Another skier - off to france in about 6 weeks. Hope the snow is still there! Better than vancouver anyway...

    I'm signing out til next december (unless.....) I've composed a song to sum up my feelings over the last couple of months. Best sung in a scandanavian car (a volvo perhaps) Thank you Andymusic, the snow you're bringing, Thanks for all the joy you're giving, Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty, What would life be?     I have 100% faith and believe (and hope) that we get some tidy winter weather in the next ten days or so. Have to remember Andy, a pessimist is merely an optimist in posession of of all the facts!!

    Thanks from me aswell. Off to Flaine Foret end of march/start of april. Has anyone got any reports regarding the resort? More importantly, I'm hoping for a good week's skiing - any experience of Flaine? O

    As a relative newcomer to all this business, I'm a bit confused Looks like a cold spell is nailed on but little chance of snow particularly in the short to medium term. What's the chances of a real spell of snowy weather later on as the atlantic pushes back into the cold in 7 - 10 days?

    looks pretty good for cold from next sun/mon (according to the fellas that knowm their stuff on the model thread). Not sure about weds this week tho. Not looking good atm.

    Snow overnight followed by heavy-ish rain - wots the point?! Temperatures predicted to shoot up as well. Could be a non-event in reality

    Sori just being nosey. The English translation of that adress is "The top (or the end) of four roads". This Welsh busnes is far more expressive than English.

    Jackone. Do you think the BBC/METO forecasts for heavy snow over night is still likely to happen? Plenty coming out of the sky here but not accumilating at the mo.

    Still steady snow in west Cardiff. BBC reckons light snow till midnight and the heavy snow overnight. Is this likely or are things moving a bit quick?

    Don't want to sound smug, but we've done a few cheap(ish) skiing holidays in France during the last few years, and have some snow chains in the boot! Could probably fit a volvo - 17" 155s?
