Its just stupid at this stage the models change every day one day its the coldest spell since 63 on the way next day its the mild weather

Just shows the models are a mess its pointless even to talk about them east west south winds i bet by fri the models will show another cold spell which wont happen simple facts are we have had a cold spell for 4 weeks and wont be getting another only some odd cold days from here on out winter 2010 will be like any standerd winter uk ireland mild europe cold esp east

Well looks like we are gettin some mild weather for the next week and the feb 8th cold spell is not going to happen pity yesterdays models where on the cold side todays look mild wheres the easterly winds gone looks like the bbc long range cold spell wont happen

Day 13. The "Beast From The East" that is coming on the 8th February, could someone tell me what year that is?

The Models change so much but i still think the will come back based on the AO forcast which will hit very low around 8 to the 10th of feb we may get maybe 7 days of ice and cold before its gets mild again but as for this week the next 7 days its going to get very mild at times which is not so good time for the prozac

at the 14 AO day forcast its going to hit -5 to - 6

this supports the latest model output in regards to a cold spell hitting uk and ireland around the 8th of feb

Joe B from AccuWeather says that ECMWF NINO forecast is picking up on the collapse of the Nino. He's ramping this up quite a bit. Interesting times ahead.

Yes but Joe B said worse to come over east europe as in germany etc not uk ireland he says cold will not be as bad here on the return of the cold snap

So looks like mild and wet for west europe for the next few weeks and i wouldent say much of a chance for gettin anything like we have had no way .

Do you agree with the idea we are now in a cold cycle like the 70s .

The weather has maybe 20 years warmer winters and then 20 years of colder ones or is my idea totally wrong im no expert like you guys are on here but thats what it looks like to me

I think looking at charts which seem to change a lot every day that we will have mild weather from the west for the next 2 weeks with maybe 3 days of east winds if we are lucky
