-
I dont think my area will get anything of note today...shame, but Friday into Saturday still has potential....still in the NSC
-
I agree with the caution, but surely with the temps we have progged and the synoptics showing, we have to get something this time around?? Dont we? (famous last words)

I dont post on here often but Can I ask a genuine quesiton?
I respect Ian F and any other forecaster pro or not who has more knowledge than I do. But why on earth is everyone going nuts becuase he and the Met think that this will break down in mid Feb when that is 2 weeks away and no one, Not the pro's, not the semi pros or anyone else can really say this WILL happen in mid Feb.
We arent even sure whats going to happen in 3 days time let alone 2 weeks....There are so many possible evolutions no one can tell me they know this will happen...

It stayed well below freezing here in Milton Keynes all morning, we had a heavy frost but no snow....on the plus side the local high school hasn't closed due to heavy snow which was predicted by the local radio station last week so Master D's education hasn't suffered at all ........
Hehe....brilliant.
Not expecting much in Hatfield tonight.....Im always up for a surprise tho
-
It is indeed :-(
Oh well fingers crossed for me that it is closer to the pink lol
thanks guys

Shucks
Let me guess
the black line is what it currently is and the pink is the normal average?
Marvelous

I'm not sure where you got that from as MV doesn't say it. Sticking to what he does indicate and that is a probability of warmer than average temps in Florida for the period. Any further detail at this range is out of the question.
You may be lucky because at the moment the temps are way below average.
Just looking at those maps? What does the Orange blob going over Florida represent?

Hi guys can someone who knows how to look at this help me. I am off to Orlando in 3 weeks from the 14th December. To my untrained eye it looks like a warm sub tropical airmass is being pushed down from the mid states by the advancing cold into Florida just at the right time for me. is this right?
http://www.wsi.com/blog/energy/sub-seasonal-u-s-temperature-outlook-through-mid-december/
I also assume its going mean warmer but wetter weather? If so what temps could be expected?? Please help thanks
-
hi guys
Im off to Orlando in Dec, from what I have seen they are thinking a milder period (with poss thunder storms), is this still correct? If so what kind of temps can I expect? No idea what to pack lol
Thanks
-
Tales to tell indeed.....But I wont .....
Personally im sick and tired of this weather. Hot? November? Enough!!!
In the summer - I like it warm
In the Winter - COLD!!!! NOT Blooming 22 degrees
Oh well at least it looks like its going to cool down to more average temps in time for bonfire night....Maybe hot tomato soup is still on the cards?
