  1. Estofex already issuing a Level 2 for just South of the Uk is a good thing, could be some intense Supercells over NE France and Benelux, what tends to happen with these is they create their own cold pools aloft which promotes MCS Initiation, now if that can be in a favourable position eg stretch across to the Brest Peninsula then expect a North moving MCS To affect us overnight Friday into Saturday morning, I am pretty sure when Estofex update tonight the Day 1 for Friday will include a Level 1 over the Uk for said MCS Moving North at the end of that forecast period (eg tomorrow evening)

So its all dependant on what happens in Froggieland tomorrow! Keep an eye on the radar around 4-6pm tomorrow I would suggest

Thanks Paul, bloody french, holding on to our storms. They cant run a port, and now they wont let the storms go....

  2. It stayed well below freezing here in Milton Keynes all morning, we had a heavy frost but no snow....on the plus side the local high school hasn't closed due to heavy snow which was predicted by the local radio station last week so Master D's education hasn't suffered at all ........

Not expecting much in Hatfield tonight.....Im always up for a surprise tho

  3. I'm not sure where you got that from as MV doesn't say it. Sticking to what he does indicate and that is a probability of warmer than average temps in Florida for the period. Any further detail at this range is out of the question.

You may be lucky because at the moment the temps are way below average.

Just looking at those maps? What does the Orange blob going over Florida represent?

  4. Hi guys can someone who knows how to look at this help me. I am off to Orlando in 3 weeks from the 14th December. To  my untrained eye it looks like a warm sub tropical airmass is being pushed down from the mid states by the advancing cold into Florida just at the right time for me. is this right?

I also assume its going mean warmer but wetter weather? If so what temps could be expected?? Please help thanks
