    Exactly...we've been here before in the last couple of weeks and until consistency occurs over several runs then I'm very wary of charts deteriorating with cool troughs peppering the UK once again...and the gloaters all over the thread once again like a cheap suit

    Why is there assumption on here by some folk that any one who doesn't wish to see a continuation of the cold weather, must be a "mild lover".....it really is becoming a bit tedious

    John, you hadn't made your post in the mod thread before i made mine in here, and anyway I'd never lump you amongst the defensive coldies! A greater dose of reality would indeed be welcome. GFS 18z FI looks a bit optimistic IMO, but then again "winter tightening its icy grip" as we head well into April seems a bit OTT!

    Good grief, those cold loving fanatics are such a defensive bunch! Gavin quite reasonably posts a few GFS FI charts that might show some encouragement to get out this dross and within five minutes a four-pronged attack appears! It's almost as if they were waiting for him!

    i'm afraid you do have to pay a licence fee to watch the crap on ITV! The difference over the BBC is that your licence fee isn't funding it....that's derived from the crap adverts they shove on every five minutes!

    frosty ground....great post, my view entirely. However, its fairly clear that on the mod thread there are so called weather fans who are only interested in one extreme type of weather and they are becoming rather repetitive and tedious. Personally, im not as enthused about this cold spell as i would normally be....reasons for which i wont bore any one with!

    thing is that the weather effects everybody - not just the fanboy types - so everybody is entitled to their opinion. As for trolling/WUMing, theres plenty of that coming from a few nembers of the cold gang at the moment.
