Oh I missed it! I poked my head out just now and it's very chilly here aswell. Even the fox didn't hang about! I did try to chat to him, to ask him what he would say,,but he hoofed it !I've now got a hot water bottle.Bliss.And some hot chocolate, I made a flask of it earlier and its still hot.He was on tv a few days ago, with some skiing celebrities.

Friend of mine is out in sochi at moment, working for the news, said it's been mild there so far, some rain and was windy yesterday. Lovely snow in the surrounding mountains though, good job!! Hope we do well, team gb. Whatever happened to Eddie the eagle!!!As the Winter Olympics looms up, spare a thought for our plucky Olympians who may well have had some experience in chilly weather only by travelling a long way.
Believe it or not we are expecting up to 7 medals in the snow and ice of Russia. Quite a big ask considering the deluge of durge they have had to put up with in this snowless, mild, snow deficient, flooded, windy "Winter" which has of course been Crap with a capital C, to date.
How will our sportsmen and women cope in the frozen wastes of sub zero ?

Just sat eating my dinner and watching millionaire matchmaker, when the sky lit up!! Presume lightning. Didn't near thunder, but hard to decipher with planes going over to heathrow.

Hi all. Not too bad a day here out west! Ground awfully soggy tho and wooden gate at home is so badly warped and swollen I have to karate chop it with my leg to open it!

Morning all, five parrots having a fight at moment on the bird nuts. Rain has arrived, very drab, so gonna remain in dressing gown and have Another coffee!!

And now it's as if nothing ever happened!! Fox has just turned up, wet, looked at me as if to say, what was that noise earlier?

Can't tell if it's thunder or just the planes to heathrow. But lightning lit up sky towards twickenham area.

Foggy and bigger gap in planes going to heathrow. Standard procedure in fog I expect. Doesn't feel too cold, just murky, no frost... Flight delays outta city and heathrow.

Good afternoon brilliant people!! The flies or midges are on the rise here in the park, most odd in January! Very pleasant day, sunny and mild. Happy birds chirping away and we just heard the owl !!
Boyfriends birthday today, so heading to strand on the green pub in chiswick to have a look at the thames.

Roads and pavements fairly flooded round my way brentford west London. Full well and. shepperton line blocked due to flooding. Hi all happy Friday!

Banished to the spare room as boyfriend watching a gushy film, and I couldn't stick it! Prefer sci or action movies. Quite chilly when popped head out door, still raining.

Hi all, put our twig tree away today and a few bits of Xmas ornaments. Living room is red and black, so always looks xmasie!! Odd in summer,,but nice in winter.
Put rubbish out earlier, is a stuff breeze and cold at that!!
Pork roast to sort out in an hour or so...

I've got a sample of The Undead by RR Hayward. It's a series of zombie books, set day by day. My mum has read them, said very good...Has not stopped raining here since early morning!If it is a good one can you let me know the title? Always on the look out for a good book to read. all is calm here, no weather, heard some wind overnight, it seems things were very bad on other coasts, heard this morning of a boy missing from the seawall, and was interested to hear that a whole ichthysaur fossil was found after the cliff face washed away in Dorset.
