Nothing here in brentford west London, bar a distant flash. Hard to make out thunder with planes rumbling away above us. Had some heavy rain and gusty winds.
-
Went outside in the rain, cold and wet is all here!! No more lightning yet and the booming noise is planes to heathrow...
-
Moon big and bright! Can see flashes towards heathrow area.
-
Looking towards heathrow can see lightning from here brentford.
-
Can't see anything in brentford, bit a bit blowy though!!

Just been outside to tighten the bolts on our cheap gazebo!! Like that will make a jot of difference if a squall goes thru here. But it is good to do SOMETHING to batten down. Even if futile! The fox won't even come near to the gazebo tonight, as it keeps shimmying about.

Morning all, very pleasant start here in the brentford isleworth border towns!! Can near the distant drums of an Indian weddings lovely start for them, hope remains so. Lots of leaf debris on patio following last nights winds! Either that or the badger and fox had a scrap.
-
Pink sky here too and clouds rushing past!! Hope our gazebo holds. Looks like wind picking up.
-
Even the foxies haven't visited yet, they normally arrive by 6pm!! Can set my watch to them...

Lashing down with drizzle here in the city !! I fear by Sunday our gazebo may fail in the wind, if we get it windy in the SE. Hope all well ! Friday

A bit brighter here now, but was full on! Looking like more rain heading in, hope it clears thru quickly for your friend performance..Just did a quick check on the radar and it looks like what started as a small feature grew and intensified as it reached us; looks like another one behind it could do the same, time will tell. Would rather it stayed fine for my friend's performance in the park.

Hi all just going to have some rose wine. Cleared the garden of as much moveable objects I could. Boyfriend wasn't too chuffed when I tried to shove him into the shed with the gazebo!!
It's been blustery at times here this afternoon. Just hope the trees hold!! Got a few huge trees here, some been around many years. Am sure am not the only one concerned about trees coming onto their home, uninvited! Hope everyone has a very good Saturday evening.
