Heavy snow!!

Working in North Wales today, VERY windy journey and just had a VERY heavy shower, with sleet and hail mixed in. Shocking drive!

.....at last. Snowing moderately here and sticking.

There literally is only one way of reading into this.

Nothing here...........it's all been a silly waste of time. (for me)

.....................dear me.......the ppn seems to be breaking up just before reaching here and has been doing so for over an hour now.

Whiteout here!! Sticking everywhere apart from the roads now .

Bit of a shame here, it's snowing heavily now but it's all a bit horizontal and none of it is sticking! If it carries on at this rate though it's surely only a matter of time!

Just wondering, I'm meant to be traveling up to the Lake Disrict today and looking at the forecasts last night I'd pretty much wrote it off, though I look out of my window this morning to a few flakes blowing around and nothing on the ground, so I'm thinking I might go, is this a good idea?

Straight down the line heavy snow here now, without what seems like even the merest hint of sleet in it now (weird), blowing around wildly in the wind!

Snowing heavily here now and sticking quite easily to the 2/3cm's of unusual slush puppy type stuff that's already lying!

The NAE still seems to be going for particularly heavy snowfall right down to the coast, for a while anyway!

Big flakes falling here now and it still seems to be pushing northeastwards, slowly but surely, I like the way this is going!

The odd decent flake starting to come down here now, I really am genuinely shocked to see the fronts relentless march north/northeastwards this morning, didn't expect it to be anywhere near us when I woke up this morning!!

Well, after an hour or so of ultralight drizzly graupely type stuff it's now actually snowing, and starting to stick!
