    Hey John, this is extremely useful. It is a difficult diagram to understand, but with this, i can understand it! Just one question On the diagram with the ELR on it, between 1000mb and 960mb or so, does the ELR follow the temperature lines (at 45 degrees) if this is so, then does the ELR stay at about 18C for the first 800mb, or is it actually warming up (as if you are reading the temperature vertically)? Hope that made sense. Daz

    Just had another thunderstorm, not much rain, but lightning about once a minute for about 10 minutes!

    I cant believe this! I may have seen something last night. When I was out at about 9pm last night, there was a definate light blue glow to the North. It looked pretty cool, but it may have been the sun setting.... If it wasn't then it was the 1sdt aroura I have seen!

    Got about 2cm of lying snow here from the blob of snow on the radar! A nice surprise when I woke up!

    Got about an inch lying here on the ground fromw hat must have been an intense shower at about 2am as I went to bed at 12:40 and got up at 2:30 and it was all white, but the snow band has gone through, and now it's raining!

    That's really wierd, no thunder, but it looks like it has been snowing, clumps of white on the grass. Cool, didn't even notice it snowing!

    There's about 2 inches of snow from a massive snow storm at about 7ish this evening

    Had a very heavy soft hail shower about 45 minutes ago, followed by a very bleak period of snow that settled and left about 0.5-1cm of snow on grass and slush everywhere else! Bring on more snow!

    Cold and foggy!?! Not been foggy during the day like this in a long time. It'll go worse when it goes dark too :s
