Blizzard now stopped to intermittent bursts of light/moderate snow. Added about a cm of snow to dry snow areas. Nothing anywhere else really. Waiting for temps to tumble and ice to form!
Snowing very heavily. I got some good photos but dont know where/how to upload them If anyone can help me, im on msn at dazmaster75@hotmail.com or reply to post
Hewavy snow here in Bury. Was looking highly unlikely for any more snow earlier when it rained/sleeted for around 20 mins! Now snowing hard, and accumulating where snow hasnt melted slightly.
I have put a picture in the winter compo section of the snow. I thought I had better take it now, before it gets washed away by all the rain that keeps falling!
I can honestly say I have NEVER seen snow and wind together like this ever in my life. Its a first for me!! Its beginning to settle, I'll try and get sum pics!
Blizzards here now. The rain has passed to the midlands now. Dont worry! If it starts raining, itll snow not after long. I think most of the band is of wintry nature!!!
I cant believe how lucky you are! Im 400ft also, and seeing sleet this evening. Its very wet, so any snow that falls will not stick. It might become icy though...
