Managed 14 Celsius today when the sun briefly came out earlier but soon disappeared
Looking forward to losing this easterly for a spell over the weekend
Honestly this is beyond dire now we struggling to get to 12 Celsius here. Saw the sun for about 5 minutes yesterday which in fairness is 5 minutes more than today
Or and it’s just starting to drizzle fantastic
Back from a week in the lakes weather barring Monday was good. Managed 2 BBQ’s
Drove back yesterday to 10 Celsius and thick cloud I see nothing has changed
Freezing here today could easily be mid winter i honestly can’t believe how cold it is . Winter coat and hat on. Even yesterday it turned cold in the afternoon after a decent start
Temp is 8.7 feels much colder than that in the wind
Where do they take the averages for specific areas does anybody know ? Because if we have had average sunshine this month I’ve been on another planet for the previous 30 April’s in my life
Not just my feeling by the way my solar panels concur
Apart from in the micro climate that is the north east coast Crewe it’s usually dire here for warmth but this April has been awful.
April 2020 is the April’s I want not this rubbish
Growing inpatient for that first really mild day now. It’s was genuinely cold this afternoon even in the sun
Hopeful is will pick up in a couple of weeks time for my holiday in the Lake District
I’d settle for 15 Celsius we got up to the dizzy heights of 11 today. Maybe it’s because we haven’t really had a mild spell it just feels worse than it actually is
Wow I honestly thought we would be comfortably below average by now, probably the never ending easterly of the freezing North Sea scuppering things here hasn’t felt remotely mild this April
