No uppers actually getting colder and dew points dropping Obviously won’t help the melt in the sun but will definitely we snow or at worst hail falling Dew point now at -4 It snowing really light here now

Yeah wind will stay favourable until early afternoon Going to be Baltic tonight especially over snowfields

We only get days of lying snow in Redcar and Hartlepool in exceptional winters Get temporary coverings now and again Even in 2010 we had plenty of melt and that was the coldest December for 100 years

Yeah looks like it’s only coastal areas that didn’t get a good fall or at least one that stuck around Glad the chase payed off in the end

Just a few little patches here left melting rapidly

Patchy snow cover here everything else looks like it’s covered in slush/ice so it most of really came down in the night

Temp and Dew point dropping away nicely now bring on the precipitation

Still nothing happening here again the radar has precipitation over me but nothing falling

When it going to stop going north ?it’s miles further that forecast and doesn’t look to me like it’s pivoted yet

It’s not even that wet here which is actually quite strange seen as though it’s been sleeting on and off all day

Dew points are more than low enough after midnight

We are not going to get any snow falling until the early hours when conditions become more favourable for low lying areas I do try to be positive

Really is starting to look promising for the early hours for our region. Colder air should undercut the precip just a case of how much is still about

Snowing here but nowhere near as much as the radar is suggesting

Pepping up a bit this front now won’t do much here but might do further inland

This first system although further north won’t amount to much All eyes on the second system and where it pivots

I think there will be back edge snow for sure but how long it lasts and how heavy is the question The fact it’s coming overnight should help

Yeah miles further north This is where the proper heavy stuff will come from for us , looks like it will arrive overnight It’s Baltic outside, if we could get some heavy precipitation and kill that strong easterly wind we in business
